Ten minutes. Two unmistakable faces.
The portrait window was ten minutes inside a much larger film production. Ted handled the still photography, making portraits of Honnold and Caldwell within the schedule of the shoot. The photographs hold their personalities together in the frame, with the directness the assignment called for.
From portrait to practice.
Beyond the portraits, the collection follows the physical language of climbing: hands, movement, rope systems, rock and the space between partners. The result is a body of commissioned stills that connects the faces of the class to the activity they know so deeply.
