The work between the summits.
The expedition traveled through the terrain around Mount Vinson and Mount Tyree. The photographs look across that experience: teammates in the cold, the inside of a tent, the scale of the mountains and the small human figures moving through them.
Part of the team.
Ted photographed and shot video while assisting Jimmy Chin on the expedition. His images also appear in The North Face’s account of the journey. The collection moves between intimate portraits and immense landscapes, giving a human scale to one of the most remote settings in his work.
